How to use CineMath on iPhone, iPad and Mac: finding your way around, what each calculator needs and gives back, and what to do when a result looks wrong. Can't find it? Contact support.

Quick answers

Where do I start?: Open the Home tab and search for what you want to work out, or tap View All Calculators. See Getting Started.
How do I switch calculators?: Tap the calculator's title at the top of the Calculator tab to open the picker, which has search, Favorites, Recent and the three groups. On a Mac, press ⌘E, or ⌘[ and ⌘] for the previous and next calculator.
What is free and what is Professional?: All 15 calculators are free, including copying results and exporting them as text. CineMath Professional is a one-time in-app purchase that adds History, Shared Links, camera presets in Data & Storage, the Upload Time speed test and 5 Professional tools.
How do I save a result?: Tap Save (the plus in a circle under the result) or press ⌘S on a Mac. Saving to History is part of CineMath Professional, and History keeps your 50 most recent entries.
Does it work offline?: Yes. Calculations run on your device. Share links, the upload speed test, purchases and usage analytics need a connection.
Do keyboard shortcuts work on iPad?: No. The keyboard shortcuts are Mac only; an iPad with a keyboard attached does not get them.

Email support@cinemath.app with your device, the calculator, the values you entered and what you expected. In the app, Settings › Share & Support › Report a Bug starts an email with your app version and device filled in.
