Installation

Download from App Store

CineMath is available as a universal app on the App Store. One purchase works across all your devices.

  1. Open the App Store on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac
  2. Search for "CineMath"
  3. Tap or click "Get" to download and install
  4. Launch the app when installation is complete

First Launch

iPhone & iPad

  • The app launches directly to the main calculator interface
  • Speed Change Calculator loads by default
  • Portrait orientation is optimized for iPhone
  • Both landscape and portrait work great on iPad

Mac

  • First launch shows a comprehensive keyboard shortcuts guide
  • Choose "Got It" to continue, "Don't show this again" to hide permanently
  • Full macOS menu bar integration with CineMath-specific commands
  • Window is resizable (minimum 600×950 pixels)

Your First Calculation

Speed Change Calculator (Default)

  1. Open CineMath - Speed Change Calculator loads automatically
  2. Tap the Source Frame Rate dropdown (defaults to 23.976 fps)
  3. Select your source frame rate from the list
  4. Tap the Target Frame Rate dropdown (defaults to 23.976 fps)
  5. Select your target frame rate
  6. View the result - Speed percentage appears immediately
  7. Save your calculation by tapping the Save button
  8. Access your history by tapping the History button
